Watchmen: Rorschach
I saw the Watchmen movie. It was good, but not great. It was almost too faithful to the graphic novel. I felt it would have been better if it was not so tied to the structure of the graphic novel. I think it would have been better if they told the story in a different order.
I can see why there were changes made moving the graphic novel to move it to the big screen. The problem is that much of the Watchmen is about comics. You cannot make the movie about comics or comic movies. The whole theme in the comic book about Nostalgia perfume not only has to do with how the characters are contently looking back at the past, but also how the whole idea of superheros were an idea started in the past and now out of date. Without those subtle ideas, the movie could not be great.
