Be Wow'ed at comic con

I wonder why I don't see more WoW costumes at Comic Con.

That costume at Fanime? Really?

I love Cobra Commander, but I not not really think it is a Fanime costume. Yes he has been in a video game or two. I saw a number of costumes I was not sure they they were at Fanime. Here is the list off the top of my head. It is still a funny thing to see.

Green Lantern: John Stewart

I love the John Stewart Green Lantern. I think he is my favorite Green Lantern. They did a great job with him in the Justice League Cartoon. I love the idea of Green Lanterns who have to overcome themselves.

I like the tshirt, but it is not really a costume, unless he was cosplaying me.

Invader Zim

I love the Invader Zim costume. She was cosplaying it very well.

Batman of Zur-En-Arrh

They just used Batman of Zur-En-Arrh on the Bold and the Brave cartoon. They even sent the regular Batman to Zur-En-Arrh. It was a great Superman, Metropolis and Krypton. I really liked the episode.

See Your Friends at Comic Con

Comic Con is a great place to meet up with friends you have not seen in a while.

I wonder why none of the female fighters in Street Fighters are unattractive.

I love this costume. It is simple but inventive. That makes it cool.

Sudowoodo

I saw three different Sudowoodo costumes at Fanime this year. I wonder why that is. Everyone wants to be a rock hard tree pokemon.

Lum

Nothing says Anime to me like this costume. It just says Anime to me.

Assassin's Creed

I have the feeling that this is something that happens in the game.

Sailor Moon

There are always more women to dress like Sailor Moon.

Mario Sword Fighter

I am not sure if this Mario is really in the game or not.

I am waiting to see a Pong, Combat, or Space Invaders costume.

Fire Mario

There are always more people cosplaying Mario and somehow they are still cool.

I am not sure why people dress like the villains or even the henchmen. It might be why it is special.

Every fight game needs a good ninja.

Hidden

This guy is Sajin Komamura from the anime Bleach. Some time in the show you find out that this guy is an anthropomorphic canine, but the viewer does not know that for a long time. I am not sure if that was before or after when this guy cosplays the character. I am not sure if it changes the meaning of wearing this costume, but I think it does. I think there is an issue here.

J Brick

I geeked out when I saw this costume. I have seen this before in photos, but I have never seen it live before. I thought it was cool when I got to take a photo of this costume.

Pokemon Trainer

Lyra is both a character in the Pokemon TV show and the game.

Na'vi

I am expecting to see a lot of Na'vi at Comic Con. I wonder if anyone will figure out how to do it being 10 foot tall.

Kon

I have seen this costume plenty, but this is the first time I found out he is Kon from bleach.

Chocobo

I love this costume. Chocobo is what I would call a cult favorite. I am not sure how many people who never played a Final Fantasy game knows what a Chocobo is, but I am in that group.

Prince Zuko

This person is cosplaying Prince Zuko from Nickelodeon's animated series "Avatar: the Last Airbender". I know Avatar has lots of fans. I wonder how the movie will go over.

Red Mist

I like the lo-fi aspect of the Red Mist costume. I think it fits the idea of the characters.

Battle Royale

She was surprised that I recognized her costume. I told her I love the movie. She told me the collar works, but she did not turn it on.

Abel

There are always more Street Fighter Costumes out there that I have not seen Cosplayed yet.

Pimp Mario

You got to love this costume. People love Mario and love to mess with his costume. These are the same guys who did the Club Mario Costume.

Dick In A Box

I think this is the first time I have ever seen a Saturday Night Live skit cosplayed. I did not expect Dick In A Box to be the first one.

Taokaka

Cosplay of Taokaka from the fighting game BlazBlue. This girl had to be hot from the sun in this cat-girl suit.

The Postman

I know that every character in popular games will be cosplayed. I think it has to do with lots of things. As a fan and a photographer this makes me happy.

Mario Bros. Princesses

I love the Mario Bros. Princesses. I think they are pretty cool characters. Most of the people that cosplay them are also cool. These two Alurei and Sarahceratops have their own cosplay website. Go check out their adventures in cosplay.

This is a cool Queen of Hearts costume. I do not know if this is from a specific version of Alice In Wonderland.

Ulala on Camera

I think it is really cool I was able to take photos of someone cosplaying Ulala being interviewed on camera. The guy is making some kind of cosplay documentary. The woman said that she thinks she will always cosplay

Can never beat him

This guy was walking away from me as I tried to get to get his picture. I wanted to yell "Hey guy I could never beat in Street Fighter," because I can never remember the character's name.

Avatar Na'vi

I think this costume is for the human Avatar Na'vi like Dr. Grace Augustine. I think that is a great idea for this costume. The only problem is that she cannot cosplay being 12 feet tall.
