I wanted to update the results of my San Diego Comic Con Costume want list. I got three out of ten. That is not so good, but I am looking for some obscure characters. I think I am going to make a whole different list next time. I wonder if I can pick 10 characters that I can find all of them. It is always a good challenge.

Comic Con: Finding my photos

I wonder how people find my photos some times. Apparently this photo was tweeted all over Brazil I used the google translater to see what they were saying.

This little comment got this photo 1300 views in a day. My total views for the day was over 10,000. This is what happens after comic con. I want to see how many 2000 plus view days in a row I can go. I am currently on 10 days in a row.

Crazy Color batman

With the current state of the DC Comics multiverse after 52, I have no idea if this version of Batman is something that was created for the comics or if it is something this guy thought up. Let me know if you know.

Back From Comic Con: Not a zombie

Yeah I felt a little like a zombie my at the end of the San Diego Comic Con international. I am back from Comic Con and I have more than 1000 photos to sort through. It will be a while before I dig myself out of that hole. I hope to post 20 or more photos a day to flickr until I post all of them. I have a Comic Con 2009 set on Flickr already. You gotta love this costume. He even did a good Chef voice. You do not see very many South Park costumes at comic con.

I am not going to say that I do not get Pokemon, but I don't. I am just not sure why they have a sexy nurse on a kids show. On top of that Brock is always lusting after Nurse Joy. It just does not make sense to me.

There are a lot of Jokers at Comic Con. He might be the most popular villain. You do not see many who are made up like the TV show Joker. I think that is one of the good points of this costume.

Dr. Horrible Emmy

Big ups to Joss Whedon and Dr. Horrible for getting an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Special Class - Short-format Live-Action Entertainment Programs. This is not really a surprise to me. Over the last couple of years the Emmys have been trying to recognize technology. I will be really impressed when they have web only categories.

Superman is not an easy character to pull off at comic con. This costumer is not easy to pull off either. He does a pretty good job at it.

I love both Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. They were two of my favorite DC Comics characters from the 80's and 90's. I still do not think I could convince my wife to dress like Blue Beetle. That is what she told me when I talked to them about the costumes.

I love this costume. It is a great crossover a characters. I really don't see Batman and Boba Fett having the same alignment. I think that Bruce Wayne would be fighting for the rebellion. I still think this is pretty cool.

I love the TV show Batman. I love that he is doing the Bat dance. I had the Bat dance album when I was growing up. I wonder where that LP is now.

What else can you say about Metal Bikini Slave Leia? This photo is my most interesting, Most Favorites (52), Viewed 17,128 times on flickr. It is pretty clear why this is a photo people like.

Twelve Comic Con Costumes to Remember: Mystique

This is a very good Mystique costume. She was one of my favorite x-men villains. I did not like here any where as much as a hero.

Kitty Pryde

I think that Kitty Pride is a very hard costume because there is no single costume that screams Kitty Pride. She has had so many costumes it is hard to pick one. I think that this is a pretty good choice.

Orion

I love that this guy is dressed like Orion. Orion is a fourth level character. He should be a better character, but I cannot think of anyone who ever writes him well. I cannot think of a great Orion story. He is just a footnote to something Jack Kirby did not pull off well.

Skeletor

How long will it be before we see a He-Man movie reboot. The first He-Man movie was one of the worst action movies of the 80s. I am not sure He-Man would work it if got the Dark Knight treatment. It looks like someone is working on Greyskull for 2001. It is a better idea that the View Master movie.

Trogdor the Burninator

I love this costume. It is smart and funny. Yes Trogdor the Burninator is one of my favorites.

Comic Con is coming

Comic Con is coming! We are less that 20 days from The San Diego International Comic Con. It was the first, is the biggest, and still the best. I will be going there to see friends, watch people talk, see previews, and most of all, Take pictures of people in costumes. It is one of my favorite things to do. It is the prime mover for my Flickr Account. I keep on wanting flickr to have a party at Comic Con, but I can never get anywhere with that idea.

Costume Hero

What I love about this costume is that without the Guitar Hero Guitar you would not know she was wearing a costume. This is not quite a slack costume.
