Comic Con 2009 New Costume List
There are always new costumes. I have taken more that 1000 photos of people in costume, there are always more costumes. There are still thousands of costumes yet to be cosplayed. Here are the costumes I photographed for the first time from Comic Con 2009.
I know that I should add a link to each and everyone of these new costumes here. I know it would make it much easier for all my readers. It just ain't going to happen. There are way too many photos here. I have not even taged all of them yet in my photostream. You can go and hunt around my flickr photostream for the photos. I will also post some of them here. Demon Woman
I will have to just assume that she is one of the Demons from the Angel TV show. They same kind of Lorne. I could be wrong, but that is the problem when not taking notes or asking questions.

Spy Vs. Spy
I love this costume. When I saw them I had to stop what I was doing and take their photo. The costumes were well done.

Red Son Green Lantern
I love this costume. There were four of them from the Superman Red Con comic. I love the idea of wearing a costume that showed up in one issue of a comic.

Speed Racer
I loved Speed Racer when I was a little kid. The problem is that it was at the same time as General Hospital were I grew up. With four sisters and my brothers did not care about Speed Racer, I did not have a chance. For my 30th birthday my sister Alice gave me the first season of Speed Racer on DVD.

Flickr Costume Group Review
I have decided to start reviewing the costume groups I contribute to on Flickr. I am going to start with Unknown Cosplay Characters. The idea is that you add photos to this group when you do not know the character. The is great because this is a problem I have all the time. Often I get a clue after a few days. It is really useful.

Hello Kitty Costume
I never expected to see a Hello Kitty costume at Comic Con. It does not really seem like a Comic Con type character. I guess everything is a Comic Con costume now.

The Black Queen is here for you
I often wonder if a person's costume says something about them. What is she telling me by being the Black Queen. Does she dress this way at other times? Is the Black Queen just her favorite X-men Villain? Does she use that whip at other times? I guess I will never know.

Is the streak over?
The party might be over. Most of the time I average between 1000-2000 views a day on my flickr photostream. Some good days I get about 4,000 views. Because of comic con I am on a 19 day streak of more that 2,000 views. Fifteen days I got more that 5,000 views. One of day I got more that 68,000.
I have been proud of my 2,000+ view days. I have always said that comic con is like the Super Bowl of my flickr year. I am worried that today is going to be the end of that streak. If you read this on August 8th (GMT), please click through and look at my photos on flickr
Ant-Man
I once read that Ant-Man is the lease successful of the iconic Stan Lee-Jack Kirby characters. I think the character worked well in the anthology format of Tales to Astonish. He does not work as well in a world where combat becomes the key part of the action and story telling. Ant-Man is best as a stealth super hero.

Comic Con oddity
I saw this guy wearing a fire suit at Comic Con. Of course I took his photo. After I asked if he was a specific character. She said no, he just had a fire suit sitting around. I guess he could be from fahrenheit 451. I think this is a cool thing to do.

All of my San Diego Comic Con photos posted
All of my Comic Con photos are posted to flickr. They have their own set. Yes I posted 811 photos. That might seem like over kill, but it might be because I took over 2000 photos. Yeah Comic Con is that way. If you don't want to look at all 811 photos, you can check out the 84 most interesting photos. You can also look at some of my Comic Con photos that need tags.
