Comic Con Vest
I love the Comic Con Bag Vest. I stopped him to talk. He said he was inspired by the women in comic con bag dresses last year.

Silk Spectre
There were fewer Watchmen costume at Wonder Con than I expected. I might never get to see my old school Nite Owl costume.

Not funny, but the Comedian
I always see the Comedian as the Ty Cobb of superheroes. I like the idea of heroes that no one like.

Twilight Lady
I think Twilight Lady is in three or four frames of Watchmen. I love that someone still cosplaying her. I think that is really cool.

Watchmen Gallery
I have been playing with the Flickr Gallery feature. I created a Watchmen Costume Gallery. These are some of the best I have seen. I hope to keep it up to day.

Alter Ego
There are few alter egos that are worth cosplaying for comic con. Walter Kovacs is iconic enough to make this costume work. I am not sure many other characters that are. Does that make him as iconic as Clark Kent or Peter Parker? Maybe, or maybe not, but the costume is still cool.

Watchmen: Silk Spectre
One last thought about the Watchmen movie. It is not a bad movie, but it is a disappointing movie. One of the reasons it is disappointing things to me is that the promotional materials for the movie gave me more of what I wanted than the movie did. Just look at the New Frontiersman website. Look at the flickr account and youtube account for the movie. The things on these accounts were brilliant. I hope we get more of this stuff on the DVD

Watchmen: Rorschach
I saw the Watchmen movie. It was good, but not great. It was almost too faithful to the graphic novel. I felt it would have been better if it was not so tied to the structure of the graphic novel. I think it would have been better if they told the story in a different order.
I can see why there were changes made moving the graphic novel to move it to the big screen. The problem is that much of the Watchmen is about comics. You cannot make the movie about comics or comic movies. The whole theme in the comic book about Nostalgia perfume not only has to do with how the characters are contently looking back at the past, but also how the whole idea of superheros were an idea started in the past and now out of date. Without those subtle ideas, the movie could not be great.

The Watchmen: Nite Owl 2
I have been thinking about Watchmen all day. I am going to be thinking about it until I see the movie tonight. Have you seen the movie? What do you think?
