Sack Boy

The Little Big Planet Sackboy costume is one of the best from FanimeCon this year. It works on all levels. It is unique, hard to do, not something everyone is doing, and it is familiar, but without being obvious. This makes my list of the top 10 costumes from this show.

Pac-Man Fever

All I need to see now is someone cosplay Space Invaders, Combat, and Pong. This is really cool I think cosplaying the ghosts from the video game would be cool also.

Pyramid Head and Bubble Nurse

I realize that this photo creeps me out because these two are holding hands with a kind of tenderness. this is not a tender costume combo.

Deep Character List

Anime is so deep with characters, I am not sure I could keep up even if I tried. I will have to rely on the internet to tell me who these characters are.

When I look at her costume, it reminds me of the Sgt. Pepper movie with the Bee Gees.

Yoshi Girl

I love this costume. It is because she is not trying to look like Yoshi, but it is trying to remind us of Yoshi. Is there a name for this style of costume. While I love cosplay, I do not know much about every part of the world. I need to become friends with some cosplayers.

Military Costumes

I know the whole Military Costume thing in anime has to do with Japan in World War II. There is a long cultural shadow there. I still think it is interesting. For some reason some of the costumes remind me of Michael Jackson.

Left 4 Bride

I will admit that I love the idea of bride zombies. It is a clear sign that the world turned to crap on the worst day you could pick. There is something cool about that.

I also think there is something a little screwed up about this. I wonder if someone on the game design team either has a problem with his wife, or was a bridesmaid to the worst woman ever. This says something.

All that's missing is Billy Idol.

FanimeCon San Jose

Nothing says Fanime has come to town like women dressed like this. I do not know the character, but I know she is anime related.

Gordon Freeman and his Gravity Gun

You got to love this costume. Gordon Freeman is not the average action hero. This is the perfect geek costume.

Slacker Gryffindor Student

I think this person is out of uniform. I am not sure the jeans meet the dress code. I think this is a good example of Slacker Costume.

Dark Phoenix

I love the Dark Phoenix costume, but it shows you how funny costumes were designed in the 70s. It shows how people do not think about what it will like in the real world.

Pit

I never played Kid Icarus ever. I know people love the game, but it is lower rung in the Nintendo Pantheon. That is why the costume is cool.

Miss Transylvania

Alright, this is not quite a costume, not in a cosplay sense. This is her work outfit. She is one of the characters on Zomboo's House of Horror. I think she fits this blog anyway.

Mod Galactus

I really like the suit. I wonder what Galactus wear's when he is on a date.

Sad Jedi

I love the Falcon. I always think he is an underused character. He is great character in the Captain America comic. I just think he could be in a series of his own.

I wonder what the movie Harley Quinn would be like. I wonder how Christopher Nolan would handle a female villain.

Two Face

I think this is a brilliant Two Face mask. It gets across the idea without being right from the comic. It might be the best Two Face I have ever seen.

Wonder Woman Interview

I love how she looks like she is being interviewed.

Dr. Horrible

For minute of content, Dr. Horrible has the most devoted fans of all time. Who else is close?

Red Son Superman

The Red Son is one of my favorite Superman stories. I think it shows a great understanding of both world history and DC Comics history.

Riddler

You got to love a little crossplay Riddler. I wonder what the best Riddler story of all time.

Mr. and Mrs. Borg

I wonder who was assimilated into the Borg collective first. I am stuck on the idea of being turning into a member of the Borg by my wife. I think this is a great matching costume combo.

Hot Fuzz

I am surprised how often I see people cosplay Hot Fuzz.

Guilty Gear

I never played this game, but I have seen this costume plenty. I wonder if Guilty Gear is on the iPhone

Snake Eyes

It is easy to see why people love Snake Eyes. He is quite, a ninja, and the baddest dude around. He can go toe-to-toe with anyone and he never boasts. I think he is an easy G.I.Joe to like. Tripwire was my favorite because his action figure came with mines and a mine detector. I also like that he would always drop the dishes in the comic book.

Luigi and Boo

I loved when costumes include props. Boo with this costume is great.

New Style Harley Quinn

I love the over the top style in this costume. I just love the way people play with the Harley Quinn costume. I think it says something about how people love her.

The Juggernaut

I am not a huge fan of the Juggernaut as a supervillain. He is way too powerful. I like him much more as a pacifist who has done too much damage in this world already. This is still a cool costume.

Scarecrow

This costume is both scary and not scary at the same time. It is an an interesting idea.

Soundwave

Soundwave is my favorite Decepticon. He is the only one that did not feel over the top evil.

Black Superman

I love this costume. I think it would be smart of Marvel and DC to make alt versions of their characters in different races.

Iron Man

I respect anyone who makes a half decent Iron Man armor.

I love the Straight Jacket, It really makes the costume.

Red Robin

I know that Red Robin has come to the regular DC universe, But I still think of Kingdom Come.

Dr. Henry Jones, Sr.

Everybody loves Dr Jones, both Doctor Jones. You got to love this costume.

I love these costumes, because it is just non-sense. I think that makes it pretty cool.

This is a great costume. It really freaked me out to see it.
